Started with a lot of silly goals. Do more Yoga, Learn French, Be snatched.
Year trickles and I settled on one. Don’t waste your days.
Jan-March: Beginner French. Quite useful, I was a fast learner. I’ve forgotten most of it, so we try again next year.
Jan-April: A ton of people giving me false hope about employment. There is special punishment awaiting people who use you without any respect or compensation. Lesson learnt. I know my worth, am knowing.
Health: Massive lesson about taking better care of myself. I am now largely meat and sugarfree. My new job involves a considerable amount of walking uphill, so yes to nature’s eliptical. Back on the yoga. Namaste.
Speaking of worth: I got published enough to have the confidence to turn down career abusers(the people who want to use your skills with silly compensation).
Selves Anthology: Check out my essay, Coffee and Guinness.
Extra proud of this one because nobody shared an editors email with me. I pitched the old fashioned way through the public email on their site.

Based off a recommendation from a writer with far superior skills. Its flattering when your seniors stan for your work. I’ve gotten recommended for things a fair amount this year. To everyone who has equated my name with quality, thank you.
As usual indulging my cinephile habits: http://blog.sodasandpopcorn.com/movie-review-tomb-raider-reboot-featuring-alicia-vikander-daniel-wu/
Upcoming pieces in The Africa Report and Vacation Guide Africa(Print)
Upcoming fiction in the erotic anthology.
Look for my reviews of the movie lineup at Nollywood Week Paris on https://africasacountry.com/ (next month). I will not pander to anybody.
Turned down the chance to cover IDP’s in Northern Nigeria because I DON’T WORK FOR FREE. Didn’t even try to provide logistical support, imagine those people.
Conceived curatorial project for second time. Did not get funding. I have left art to rich people, or those cold and skilled enough to play the game.
Started a new job as international coordinator for a nonprofit school in rural East Africa. I love my new home. Journaling everyday. I didn’t journal for my Euro trip-11 countries silly me.
Reading a lot of stories about “crazy” people and the workings of mental institutions.
Completed fiction about the beginning and end of a mental breakdown. Writing nonfiction about asexuality/promiscuity/polyamoury, religon/tradition. Please don’t reject me when I submit it.
